About this project
Geometry should move from the page into your hands.
Nets of 3D Shapes is a free browser-based tool for teachers, students and parents. It turns real measurements into printable nets, then connects each flat face to a rotatable solid so the geometry is easier to understand.
The templates are generated on your device. There is no account, no watermark and no server upload of your labels or dimensions.
Built for accurate printing
Every export uses millimeters internally, whether you enter centimeters or inches. Actual-size output is never silently reduced. If a model is too large, the tool asks you to change the dimensions or deliberately choose Fit to page.
Check a print before cutting
Download the PDF, select 100% / Actual size in your printer dialog and measure the 50 mm calibration line with a ruler. If it is not 50 mm, check the printer scaling settings before assembling the model.
Fit to page may reduce the requested model. The displayed scale and printed dimensions explain the result. Card thickness affects the 3D preview only; glue seams and the material itself can change the dimensions of a finished paper model. These templates support classroom geometry and crafts, not precision manufacturing.
